We walk the talk

Today, face-to-face events provide the direct connections that build relationships, create collaboration and lead to business success.

Jai and Bruce Cole founded Plum Communications Inc. in 1984. They are seasoned professionals with a passion for the live event and face-to-face industry. For more than three decades they have produced major events, including shows recognized among Trade Show Week's top fifty.

Both are active contributors to the industry and committed to passing on their expertise. Jai and Bruce were founding adjunct professors of the Trade Show and Convention certificate program at George Brown College in Toronto. Jai holds the Certified in Exhibition Management designation and has taught in the CEM program.

Bruce is a business visionary, successful entrepreneur, corporate manager and industry consultant. He applies decades of knowledge to every stage of business development, from successful launch to rewarding exit.

A proven event-management and operations specialist, Bruce has planned and implemented consumer and trade shows, business conferences and corporate events. His largest event attracted more than 20,000 delegates and 180 conference speakers.

His work spans strategic consulting, business plans and P&L, brand development, sponsorship sales, relationship management, team building and contract negotiations.

Jai has been a dynamic contributor and trend-setter in the events industry for decades. Her sales and marketing experience spans large-scale expositions, not-for-profit organizations and corporate events in Canada and internationally.

Her strategies have increased revenue, exceeded budgets and delivered on deadline for clients across sectors. She builds long-term outside partnerships while strengthening the internal communication that keeps every part of an event moving together.

She is, quite simply, one of the best chances your event has to be as successful as it can be.
